8 looks like it could really be a breakout film of 2019. It follows a South African family tortured by an evil spirit. Even though we’ve seen this trope before, 8 looks extremely well shot, acted and directed. It probably won’t be a gorefest, but the supernatural mystery paired with African legend aspects make it look like it could be a very solid view.
