Anna and the Apocalypse is what happens when an art director wants to combine the La La Land experience with the slash and gore of Horror. It is a horror movie where everyone sings for some reason and Justin Bieber is a Zombie. Park-House pictures have hit just the right amount of "bad, but good, but funny, but bad-ish?" The movie would like to think of itself as La La Land meets Shaun of the Dead; the truth is that Anna and the Apocalypse most likely will be like Bieber's music: fun but forgettable.
