Found footage films are very divisive. Some people watch every single one, while others despise them. In recent years it seems like the trend for mass-producing found footage films has cooled down a little, which makes this film feel like something fresh even though the concept has been tackled many times. The film follows a camera crew, filming a YouTube host, who get in over their heads while filming the whole thing. With these films, it’s not so much about the story as it is about the haunted house-like ride you get from watching them. It looks decent and fans of the FF genre are going to watch it in droves.
