If you're anything like us, then Poltergeist really messed you up as a kid. Every time there was a storm we thought the tree outside our window was going to snatch us up. We thought every channel with snow on it was about to talk to us and any late-night snack would suddenly develop maggots. Don't even get us started about swimming pools. But it's no wonder this film was so terrifying. It came to us from Tobe Hooper, the same guy who brought us the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Hopefully, this retro horror trailer won't bring back too many disturbing childhood memories.
