Being isolated in a snowy, desolate lodge seems bad. Add a healthy dose of paranormal happenings and a dash of crazy step-mom and you have The Lodge. This film seems genuinely dark and foreboding; something that doesn’t rely on the cheap jump scares over and over. The Witch and It Comes at Night come to mind after viewing this trailer. This could be a masterpiece if done correctly.
